WANTOK Cafes is dedicated itself to provide and serve only Melanesian Foods, to only Melanesian Customers.

This policy is important with the following reasons:

1. We have very healthy foods inherited from our ancestors, however, they are being undermined and never been consumed widely across Melanesia, therefore, we want to encourage all Melanesians to produce and consume Melanesian foods;
2. We have very healthy way of preparing Melanesian foods, however, they are being undermined and never been used anymore across Melanesia, therefore, we want to encourage all Melanesians to process Melanesian foods in Melanesian ways before consuming Melanesian foods.
3. We have varieties of foods available across Melanesia, however, we become more familiar with foreign foods rather than our own Melanesian foods, therefore, we provide varieties of Melanesian foods and drinks in order to help us Melanesians appreciate our own inherited foods and drinks.
4. We have enough number to support our economy, however, we thought exporting our products to foreign markets will make us richer than selling them to our local markets, therefore, we promote Melanesian products to serve only to Melanesian peoples.
